Who we are
Bliss Clean Group Ltd (company no. 16124761, registered office: 157 Christchurch Road, West Parley, Ferndown, BH22 8TA), trading as Bliss Cleaning, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about your data on 01202 511930.
What we collect and why
- Quote and contact forms — your name, contact details, postcode and details of the cleaning you want. We use these to arrange your quote visit and respond to your enquiry (lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract).
- Customer accounts — sign-in details (handled by our authentication provider, Clerk), messages you send to your cleaning team, and any breaks you book. We use these to deliver your cleaning service (lawful basis: performance of a contract).
- Job applications — your name, contact details, availability, experience, references, DBS status, and any photo you choose to upload. We use these to assess your application (lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting safely).
Where your data lives
Data is stored on servers operated by our hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel, Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, and Clerk for sign-in). Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum to Standard Contractual Clauses. Messages you send through your account go directly to Bliss — we never publish or share them.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and quote requests: up to 2 years after last contact.
- Customer account data: for the duration of your service plus 6 years (for legal and accounting records).
- Unsuccessful job applications: up to 6 months, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Call 01202 511930 and we'll deal with your request within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
